    Everyone gets stressed out sometimes. However, each person has a unique perspective as to what they find relaxing. Luckily, if we look at our zodiacs, we might find some guidance.

    The world would be a better place if everyone was a little more relaxed. Find your sun sign on this list and you might just discover what really works for you!

    Aries (March 21st – April 19th)

    Aries are impulsive and energetic. Therefore, passive or stationary relaxation methods are not ideal. Movement-based relaxation techniques like dynamic yoga, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercise, or endurance sports are recommended.

    If you wish to meditate, focus-based meditation—like walking meditation—is ideal. Additionally, essential oils, like eucalyptus, can rejuvenate and invigorate you.

    Taurus (April 20th – May 20th)

    Tauruses are known to treasure comfort, stability, and tranquility. Relaxation methods where you can slow down and breathe are perfect. Taking a luxurious bath, getting a massage, or music therapy are ideal for a Taurus.

    Mindfulness meditation is a wonderful form of meditation where you focus on sensation—which is perfect for the sensual Taurus. It is best to avoid any relaxation technique that will disconnect you from your senses.

    Gemini (May 21st – June 21st)

    Gemini are always on the move and are curious about the world around them. Non-stimulating or monotonous relaxation methods are not for you. Puzzles, reading, or any other intellectual activity can be great at relaxing you.

    Aromatherapy with an essential oil like peppermint can revive you. It’s best to use relaxation podcasts or guided meditation to calm an ever-racing mind like yours.

    Cancer (June 22nd – July 22nd)

    Cancers are comforted by familiarity. When it’s time to relax, make sure to stay within your comfort zone, perhaps surrounded by your loved ones. You might find comfort in daily rituals, like journaling or doing a skincare routine before bed.

    Burning incense, especially chamomile or jasmine, will fill you with warmth. Chakra balance meditation is ideal for a Cancer who needs to feel grounded and secure.

    Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd)

    Leos are confident and jubilant. In order to relax, you need activities that feed into that confidence and ego. Make sure to avoid activities that keep you from showing off your personality and flamboyance.

    Self-care beauty treatments, spa days, and even partying and dancing can help you loosen up. Citrusy scents like orange and lemon invigorate you. If you want to meditate, one great technique for you is visualization-based meditation; this can help you visualize your ideal reality.

    Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd)

    Virgos are practical and meticulous. When it’s time to calm down, make sure to avoid disorganization or unstructured relaxation methods. Structured activities like yoga or pottery will help you relax.

    Breathing-focused meditation can help you feel grounded. Bergamot and patchouli oils are ideal scents for you.

    Libra (September 23rd – October 23rd)

    Libras value the aesthetically pleasing things in life. Creating or observing art can help you relax—try painting or listening to classical music.

    Sweet and lovely scents like rose and vanilla are perfect for libras. Gratitude-based meditation can center you. When it’s time to relax, make sure to avoid cacophonous environments. Loud or difficult relaxation techniques are not for Libras.

    Scorpio (October 24th – November 21st)

    Scorpios are passionate and intense. Therefore, make sure to avoid any relaxation technique that you would deem frivolous or superficial. Therapy sessions, tai chi, or adventurous activities like caving or scuba diving will be beneficial.

    Brawny scents like sandalwood and musk will soothe you. Guided visualization or deep meditation will help you relax. Perhaps you’ll even have a much-needed epiphany!

    Sagittarius (November 22nd – December 21st)

    If you’re a Sagittarius, you are optimistic and adventurous. If you need to unwind, try going outdoors! Hiking, fishing, or archery might be your ideal relaxation activity.

    If you can’t go outside, bring the outdoors indoors and burn some cedar or sage incense. Mindfulness meditation will expand your awareness and will keep you down-to-earth. When attempting to relax, make sure to avoid any space that will make you feel trapped.

    Capricorn (December 22nd – January 19th)

    Capricorns are driven and practical. Don’t bother with relaxation techniques that don’t have a tangible outcome. Instead, hands-on activities like woodworking or gardening will be relaxing for you.

    Scents like pine or lavender can be refreshing for Capricorns. Root chakra meditation will help you feel grounded and less stressed.

    Aquarius (January 20th – February 18th)

    Aquarians are innovative, creative, and independent. Because you are so unconventional, try something a little out-there, like spiritual retreats or sound baths to relax. You won’t find success with traditional or restrictive relaxation techniques. 

    Meditation techniques like cosmic consciousness or ones that focus on the third-eye might prove invigorating for you. You may find that eucalyptus and aquilegia oils are energizing, too!

    Pisces (February 19th – March 20th)

    Pisces are intuitive, imaginative, and compassionate. Make sure you don’t neglect your emotions. You may find peace doing water-related activities, like going to the beach, swimming, or taking a relaxing bath.

    Scents of lotus and myrrh might be particularly calming to you. When meditating, dream-focused techniques or guided meditation will be most useful and refreshing.
